The Energy Shift You’re Feeling Explained
A grounded guide to the Full Moon, Saturn direct, and what your intuition is trying to show you. Week of Dec 1 - Dec 6, 2025
If you’re anything like me, this year has stretched you in ways you didn’t expect. There’s been a lot of endings, a lot of identity shedding, and a lot of emotional truth rising to the surface. It makes sense though. We’re in a 9 year, in the year of the Wood Snake, which carries themes of shedding, wisdom, intuition, and deep inner change. It naturally brings a level of release that you cannot avoid, and it’s felt especially intense if you’ve had a hard time accepting some of the necessary changes that needed to happen for your growth.
With Saturn now direct, there is also this quiet shift forward, almost like your inner foundation is finally catching up to everything you learned over the past few months. There is a sense of regaining your footing, even if things are still rearranging.
My intuition keeps pointing to rest right now. Real rest. The deep kind where your nervous system finally integrates what you’ve moved through. Resting, for those of us entrepreneurial type-A people, is a skill, but when you give yourself that space, you hear the messages that have been trying to find you. Rest helps you emotionally accept the changes of the year so you can create from where you actually are, not from who you used to be.
With Mercury retrograde in Sagittarius and then dipping back into Scorpio, many of us have been revisiting the past. Reviewing choices. Re-feeling situations we thought were long resolved. Patterns became clear. Misalignments became hard to ignore. And now that Mercury is direct, everything feels a little more open. Maybe not fully stable yet, but clearer. You might find yourself leaning into acceptance more easily now.
It takes courage and trust to move ahead when you can’t see the whole path. Especially if you’re someone who usually sees the big picture. The beauty of this moment is choice. You get to choose the direction. You get to choose how your life transforms from here, and this is why rest is so important. Getting still makes it easier to hear that next right move that comes from intuition rather than pressure.
So if you’ve been tired, uninspired, or feeling the need to let go of more than you feel ready to build, that’s normal. We’re closing out a massive energetic cycle. And before we step into the momentum of 2026, we need to clear emotional space for what’s coming. This is how you avoid repeating the past. You need energy and intention to choose a new thought, a new action, or a new pattern. Take the rest you need now so you can move forward with clarity.
As Venus moves into Sagittarius on Sunday, 11/30, the emotional field opens. Truth becomes easier to hold. The mental ruminating begins to soften. And that’s the doorway into this week’s astrology. It’s a week that supports momentum through understanding, relaxation, and honest reflection, rather than forcing anything forward.
Let’s get into it.

✨ The Week Ahead
Monday, December 1: Moon enters Taurus
The week starts off with a feeling of comfort and grounding. The Moon in Taurus brings you back into your body and reconnects you with what feels stable. Slow and steady feels right. Take care of yourself through rest, nourishing food, gentle movement, or simply giving yourself quiet space to hear your own inner guidance. This is a supportive beginning to the week after such a full year of transformation.
Tuesday, December 2: Venus sextile Pluto
Today opens deeper emotional currents in a way that feels harmonious and stabilizing. Venus in Sagittarius seeks honesty, and Pluto in Aquarius reveals what has been operating behind the scenes. You may notice something in your relationships, values, or emotional patterns that becomes clearer now. You might also feel inspired to approach something differently, and it is important to trust that instinct. Allow change to feel natural rather than forced.
Wednesday, December 3: Moon enters Gemini
The energy becomes more active as the Moon enters Gemini. Thoughts, memories, insights, and ideas begin to move more quickly. You might catch yourself reviewing your year or noticing patterns you didn’t fully see before. Let yourself be curious. This mental activity is preparing you for the clarity of the Full Moon.
Thursday, December 4: Full Moon in Gemini (13°)
This Full Moon brings a clear and honest moment of understanding, the kind that rises naturally after weeks or even months of processing without realizing how much insight has been building beneath the surface. Gemini energy activates the mind and inner voice, helping you see your thoughts and emotional patterns with new clarity. Something may feel easier to name now, whether it is an identity you have outgrown or a truth you have been slowly moving toward.
The Sabian symbol for 14 degrees Gemini (we always round up a degree) is “A conversation by telepathy.” This speaks to intuitive communication, the kind where you sense the answer before you fully articulate it. The keyword for this degree is INTIMATION, which reflects the quiet internal hints, nudges, and insights that guide your next move.
This symbol also reflects how deeper relationships reveal themselves at this time, not through big conversations, but through sensing someone’s essence, intention, or truth. It becomes easier to feel which connections align with who you are becoming and which ones do not.
Give yourself space today to reflect or sit with yourself because the clarity that comes through now is meaningful and can guide how you step into the next year with more honesty and alignment.
Friday, December 5: Sun square the Nodes and Moon enters Cancer
Today brings a gentle and reflective tone. The Moon in Cancer encourages you to slow down and tend to your emotional world. The Sun squaring the Nodes brings something from the past into your awareness in a way that helps you see what no longer belongs in the life you are creating. This is a moment to consider what progress, success, and alignment mean to you now. Give yourself space to move at a pace that supports clarity.
Saturday, December 6: Mercury trine Jupiter
Mercury in Scorpio and Jupiter Retrograde in Cancer work together to support emotional clarity and understanding. You may start to connect the dots between inner patterns more easily. There is a sense of expansion through honest self-reflection, especially around what supports your inner stability and what no longer does.
Sunday, December 7: Mercury trine Saturn
As Mercury connects with Saturn, there is a feeling of inner structure returning. Your thoughts become easier to organize and your next steps feel more tangible. This is a good day to commit to something that has been forming within you or to recognize the boundaries, choices, or patterns you no longer want to carry. The clarity from the past few days begins to settle into your system in a grounded way. New energy feels like it’s now starting to anchor in and the glimmers of what you’re creating are brighter than they were last week even.
This week is quite sacred, to be honest. It asks you to honor what is ending, what is shifting, and what is beginning inside of you. The Gemini Full Moon brings insight and understanding to your inner world, and the rest of the week helps you integrate it so you can move into the new year with more trust in yourself.
Listen deeply and rest when you need it. Follow the truths that rise naturally this week and as you let go of what no longer fits, you create space for the version of yourself who is ready to step forward.
If you want more clarity around your own path and the direction you are moving in 2026, my Pathway Forward readings are always here to support you. They can help you understand your timing, your lessons, and the energy you are meant to work with right now so your next steps feel aligned from the inside out.
✨ Kundalini Practice for the Week: The Neutral Mind
The Neutral Mind is one of my favorite spaces to work from because it helps you settle into yourself without getting pulled around by every thought or emotion. When this part of the mind is active, you can hold your truth without wobbling. You see things clearly without getting caught in reactivity. It becomes easier to hear your intuition and stay connected to your inner light.
In Kundalini, we talk about the Neutral Mind as the place where your soul and your human self (your heart) meet in calm awareness. It is where you remember who you are beneath old patterns, old stories, and old fears. It is also where you can actually receive the insights you have been asking for.
Repetition of a mantra from this space, known as jappa, helps anchor truth into the heart and create a consistent inner connection. It shifts you out of overthinking and into remembrance, helping you hold your direction with more calm and confidence.
This week’s meditation supports exactly that.
The Practice
Posture:
Sit in Easy Pose (cross legged position or in a chair with both feet on the ground) with your spine long and straight. Release tension from the body. Find a balanced position that feels steady and open.
First…Tune In: Say or chant “Ong Namo, Guru Dev Namo” 3 times with your hands in prayer.
Then…
Eyes:
Close your eyes. Visualize yourself sitting calmly, filled with radiance, and then let your awareness gently gather at the Brow Point.
Mudra:
Place both hands in your lap with your palms facing up. Rest your right hand on top of your left. Your thumb tips may touch lightly or rest apart.
Breath:
Allow your breath to settle into a slow, natural rhythm. Let it regulate itself without force, almost as if the breath is meditating you.
Mental Focus & Mantra:
Silently repeat the mantra Wha-hay Gu-roo in a steady, simple monotone. Feel each syllable land clearly as if you are gently tapping into truth with each repetition. Keep your attention at the Brow Point and call on your higher self as you continue.
Mantra translation: Infinity identity from darkness to light.
Practice for 3 to 11 minutes, or longer if it feels supportive.
I hope this week brings you clarity, softness, and a deeper connection to yourself.
LMK if this post resonates with you and sending you so much love!
Tara
